Permanent Deacon Stole

These Stoles are either Shaped with a Seam at approximately Waist height and joined together with a Cord or Ordinary Shaped and joined with a cord to be worn by Permanent Deacons. Ordinands going on to be Priested should opt for the Ordinary Stole with the Hook and Eye fastening.

Made to suit the Height of the wearer but our standard size is approximately 104" long - 5" wide at bottom edge, tapering up to 3½" at the neck, which would fit someone approximately 5' 9" / 5' 10" in height.

After selecting a fabric (if appropriate, after requesting fabric samples) please also let us know the colour you have chosen by including this in the Fabric Colour box.

Fringes are normally included on Brocade Stoles and are included in the price quoted - but they can be omitted if preferred.

Fringes are not normally included on Stoles in Plain Weave, Special Weave or Silk Dupion fabrics, however to ensure correct costings for this website, all fabrics include the cost of Fringes but can be removed.

Embroidered Back-Neck Cross is included on all Stoles (please see images for example).

It is also possible to provide a quotation for a computerised embroidery copy of your own design from your own embroidery, sketch or design. Please send these in to us via email or in the post.
